Ignite Those Sparks!

Every Saturday in the Masafwa house was general cleaning, and woe to the sibling who had kitchen duty! The dirty dishes, once-white-now-colorful stove top, oily walls and marked floors went easy on no man. As the record-holder for the most organized drawer, I relished the challenge! But still, it amazed me to see how each person tamed the beast! I never would have thought to scrub the floor tiles, wash the kitchen towels or re-organize the plates!

Many people don't take action because there are other people to do it! What makes you so special, right? You're not even as qualified or as positioned as they are! Well, do I have an answer for you! Your eyes and your hands make you the right person exactly where you are! My siblings' eyes each noticed a unique problem and they raised their hands to do something about it!

Not everyone may see what you see or have the solution that you have! You are uniquely positioned because what come out of you is borne of your education, your experiences, your heart, your mind! Don't let the sparks turn off! Pay attention to the things that make it to your heart and do something about them! I am a Chemistry major with no computer expertise, but I found a way to build this website that you are on right now! What idea are you sitting on? Get up!
